The Canadian premiers meet this week in Niagara-on-the-Lake and NDP Leader Lorraine Michael (MHA, Signal Hill-Quidi Vidi) wants to know whether this province’s premier plans to stand up for healthcare.

In the House of Assembly today, NDP leader Lorraine Michael (MHA, Signal Hill-Quidi Vidi) asked the premier about Bill 29. Michael stated that while there has been public outcry over Bill 29 the premier has thus far been silent.

 

NDP Leader and Health Critic Lorraine Michael (MHA, Signal Hill-Quidi Vidi) is calling on the province’s premier to stand firm against the federal government’s proposed drastic changes to federal health care funding.
