Mr. Speaker, the Premier has been silent on one of the most regressive and repressive pieces of legislation ever introduced to this House, but there has been a public outcry in the Province over Bill 29.

Today in the House of Assembly NDP leader Lorraine Michael (MHA, Signal Hill – Quidi Vidi) asked questions of the minister of health and the premier.

Referencing the job cuts in Eastern Health, Michael asked the minister to clearly outline how her department is going to monitor how changes to ensure patient care will not be negatively affected.
